Advanced Analysis cell limit tuning against BW

We currently use the default cell limit of 500,000 but recenrly our user feedback would like to double the limit to 1,000,000 cells. I favor the option of referencing the BW object which limits the output referenced by Advanced Analysis Admin guide.

Are there any Best Practices or write-ups which go over the above exercise? I don't want to reinvent the wheel
